There is normally a wide variety of peppers in a wide range of colors available beginning in mid-summer and continuing into fall.   Anaheim, Banana, Bell, Datil, Jalapeno, Cayenne, Cherry Bomb, Chili, Corno di Toro, Cubanelle, Fatali, Ghost, Hungarian Wax, Habanero, Italian, Lunchbox Sweets, Marconi, Poblano, Scotch Bonnet, Serrano, Tobasco, and the famous Hatch roasting peppers (Big Jims) are available at different times during the season.  Most peppers are priced by the pound.  Some of the hottest peppers are sold individually, such as Datil, Fatali, Ghost, and Scotch Bonnet.
